Coronavirus Update

Due to the Coronavirus, we are currently not doing walk-ins. We are still open, but please call 910-762-2651 before any sick visits to make an appointment. Once here, all parents are now checking in via their phone from the parking lot. We are doing our best to screen all patients who may have COVID-19 symptoms to keep them from coming into the office and decide who needs a test.

If it is determined you need a COVID-19 test, we do a Telemedicine Visit to screen those who need COVID-19 testing via a nasal swab outside in our parking lot (availability and weather permitting). We now have the Rapid Antigen Test which has a result back within 15 minutes. However, due to the low sensitivity of the rapid test, if it is negative it is necessary to do a PCR Test. These PCR tests are a send-out, and results are usually back within 48 hours. The doctor and nurse that is testing for COVID is in full PPE and do not see any non-sick patients that afternoon.

For general COVID-19 information, go the the, or you can call 1-877-490-6642. COVID-19 Triage Plus which has nurse care managers who can help you 7 days a week, from 7 AM - 11 PM.

Stop The Spread

Help prevent the spread of COVID by social distancing, wearing a mask, not touching your face, and washing your hands frequently

Quarantine vs Isolation for COVID

You are in quarantine and must stay at home when you have been in close contact with a known COVID-positive person to wait and see if you get sick too. You are in isolation and must stay at home when you test positive for COVID to prevent the spread to others, including those that live in your house if possible.

What to do if your child has COVID

If you child has tested positive for COVID-19, most parents can manage them easily at home. Children most often have very mild symptoms, and sometimes no symptoms at all.
