Dr. Groot

Dr. Groot graduated from Baylor University in Waco, Texas, with a Bachelor of Science in Biology in 2014. She graduated from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center Medical School in 2018. She completed her Pediatric residency training at Prisma Health Upstate in Greeneville, SC until 2021.  Dr. Groot is board certified in pediatrics and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. 

Dr. Groot has a special interest in the care of ADHD, Newborn Care and Lactation, and the treatment of Asthma.

Dr. Groot is married to Dr. Samuel Groot, who is a vascular surgeon with Tinsley Surgical , and they have 3 small children.  They currently live in Wilmington. 

Dr. Groot's interests and hobbies include gardening, painting, hiking, going to the beach with her kids, and ANYTHING Disney!
